just had an MSV email saying that Tom Sykes, Simon Andrews & Eugene Laverty will be wildcarding in WSBK at Brands

Yeah, saw that as well but I dont think I'll be going to this meeting. I'll prolly head to cadwell later for BSB.

I'll be there!

is there a group of people riding there from the chelmsford area?

I'm planning on Saturday. I haven't had a chance to use the 40D at a motorsport event since I got it....

It was quite sickening to watch on TV. Jones lost the rear coming out of the final corner and it went right around, he fell off on the low side and I'm not sure whether the commentators on Eurosport realised it was bad and intentionally avoided comment, or if they just didn't see Andrew Pitt's front wheel basically smash into Craig Jones' helmet, knocking him clean out and leaving him motionless in the road just before the s/f line.

The news so far (afaik) is serious head injury.
