hi, some advice if you please....
a shop near me has some curvy lowers in various colours...blue / black / yellow... all are damaged (paint only so would prep and repaint) bloke said make me an offer when i spoke to him on phone..when i go look at them later i could just say "ok..tenner?!" and go from there... but what do people think a reasonable price would be for these without any fitting kit etc.... with that in mind....where can i get a fitting kit lol?? Cheers .org'ers Dappa D ![]() |

That's the thing, the fitting kit is going to be difficult to get hold of as panels can be repaired/painted, but if the fitting kit is bent/broke it will need to be replaced. Plus it also depends on who made the lowers as to what fitting kit will fit.

No rides that I know, most are just regular things, but have a look in SW&S, just for me its looks after itself rather well. Also with the huge catchment area its hard for me to get involved in it all. As you in Bristol area best speak the the Mofo's about what they get up to. I'm in Portsmouth and the main things down there are Poole Quay, Alton Cafe, Southsea bike meet.

I paid £46 for mine from ebay (similar sounding condition) and just received the fixing kit and fitted it last night. A word of warning though, use plenty of WD40 a few days before you intend to fit them as some of my bolts needed a lot of effort to get off.

Sounds like you may get a bargain. I'd offer him an amount for the whole job lot and sell what ya don't want on here.
Does he have any pointy lowers (or belly pans for that matter), OEM only mind?? Not bothered about colour or condition as I'll be spraying them anyway. Regards Phil |
