is this the new SV 650 that on the front page?
if so it looks a beaut to me. not been on here for a quite awhile. currently I have a Yam Fazer 600(03). I always ride two up (wife) and now I find it a little to heavy now. ok while I moving at speed,it just when I'm moving very slowly , and if I brake a little to sharp while leaning a bit that's when it becomes heavy. so now I'm considering getting the Sv650.sat on one after I paid a deposit on the Fazer and found it to be very light and I quite like it. are the new ones still the same? what is like power wise two up? mainly accelerating, top speed I'm not bothered about as long it'll cruise (not hammering it)around 70/80mph. and what is expected mpg my fazer I get around 50mpg. it'll be next year when I'll be buying one all being well (job wise) this webb has change quite a bit since I was last on it. john |

Afraid that image on the front page doesn't show the new SV. Not sure why that photo is there if I'm honest. Think it must have been the press speculating.
The new K9 SV is no different to the previous ones, only change is the colour. I can't really comment on anything else as I haven't picked mine up! |

The K9 SV looks identical to the K3-K8 SV650, except it is supposed to have black forks now and the possibly have ABS as an option.
