Default GSXR K7 K8 seat unit fitting?

Hi, has anyone fitted a K7 K8 GSXR1000 seat unit and retained there original seat pad? I'd like to see a couple of pics please, even of an SV650 with a K5 K6 GSXR seat unit fitted.

Thanks in advance

Thers plenty with K5/K6 model ones fitted havnt seen many with K7/K8 fitted you mite find the k7/k8 hardish 2 get on as ther so thin so will not fit on the sub-frame the very best tho if you have a race sub aload of seat units will fit if its standard best bet will be a k5/k6 model one as i have seen loads of them fitted on sv's with stanrd sub frames.

I have seen a kit fitted to an Injected bike, nice and narrow, really suited it, but I dont think the seat unit is easy without home made subframe etc

Another seat unit that fits really well and pretty easy is the older GSXR ones like from K1-K4.

Do these seats also fit the K3 SV650 (with the higher subframe)? Didn't know that GSX-R seats could be fitted to the SV.

Mmm, I think we're talking two different things. I meant if a riders seat from a K5-K8 SV or a GSX-R will fit a K3, but apparently a seat unit is the rear plastic thingy.

LOL

The older seat units are something the same as the orignal SV race unit and as said above they also fit very well.

the newer ones i think show alot of the sub-frame up and make it look bare looking and the newest K7 onwards i think u mite find hardish getting onto the orignal sub-frame i dont no tho as ive never tryed it nor seen one fitted yet really.
