I had to do a re-location job on mine - with the pipe cut too short (but still had the off-cut) I used some of the think black tubing to join 2 pieces of the clear plastic tube - no problems in about 5000 miles. (and one re-fill)

If it is in a hard to access place try adding some tube to the fill up point and zip-tie the tube end somewhere more accessible.

On the Curvy, if you remove the nearside (chain-side) seat infill triangle, you will notice 2 small 6mm tapped holes in the frame, I made a small "L" shaped bracket, and mounted mine there, the advantages are you only have to remove the small panel to check & adjust the oiller & it mounts upright !!

If you contact Scottoiler I think they'll send you any spares i.e. additional tubing for free.
I fill mine about once every 2-3 weeks and do around 400 miles per week. Again, like posted above, the dial got knocked once up to maximum and I emptied the full lot in 2 days. |
