How easy, or difficult, is it to get the tank protection sticker off? Bearing in mind that these might have been on for eight years or so.
Obviously I would like to get the stock ones off and put some fancy ones on I got off ebay. Any advice would be welcome ![]() |

Hairdryer and pull off.....if there is any stick stuff left then a bit of kitchen roll in the petrol tank and wipe off job done.
If they have been on for 8 years though....there may well be some paint fade. Did mine at the weekend no problems, they have warning sticking on the swing arm, chain gaurd, infact almost everywhere on the cbr ![]()

Think he's talking about a tank pad not the safety stickers . As long as he is putting another on paint fade shouldn't really matter .

Is there a way to get the Suzuki writing off the side off the tank?
Also is the hairdryer/petrol method safe to get off the warning sticker on the frame? I'm toying with the idea of having no stickers or writing on the bike... ![]() Cheers! ![]() |

The tank stickers are lacquered on.
The other methods are fine for getting the stickers off the frame.
