Nonsense! No one conciously "chooses" a type of fuel to fill a vehicle on based on this. People fill up with the wrong type through inattentiveness, force of habit and oversight.

No, in his instance it was just inattentiveness (unless perhaps he has a diesel car and is used to putting fuel in that).
