So how is it done?
![]() Further to this, what is the definition of 'quick'? How can we define this? Quicker than your mates perhaps? But what if you have particularly fast (or slow) mates? |

I turn that movable bit on the handle bars anticlockwise a bit but I'm not sure this is correct.

I do a similar thing to sosha, that twisty handlebar grip on the right handlebar when twisted towards me makes my bike go faster. SOmetimes, alot faster, silly fast.
Oooor do you mean cornering? Miles and miles and miles and miles of riding. Then, when your happy on your own, come along to AR09. AR08 taught me ALOT about my riding ability ![]() |

Just go quicker than last time.
And overtake that CBR/ZXR/R?/GSXR round the outside at any given TD ![]() |

It's something I think about sometimes, I'm quicker than most of my mates who ride but at the same time I don't know if they're 'quick' or not. Guess a few trackdays should sort me out. In your case, I guess some racing would bring you up to your potential speed which you may or may not have hit when you used to race before.

to go faster than u should do.........
try going down hill ..... ![]() ![]() a fairing bike and a naked bike of same stats, the fairing bike will always go faster due to areodynamics........ now i'm sure that people will disagree... but i'm telling you the truth, honest .. ![]()

Ah ... I think I need to clarify ...
I am talking about how YOU go about being faster as a rider ... Just adding miles might make you slightly quicker, but you are likely to plateau at some stage ... therefore if you want to be significantly quicker you need to act on pushing the boundaries of what you currently feel is your comfort zone ... |

ah ha. in that case of being a faster rider...
my man, do a race day...... the more laps you. do the quicker you get ... this is true, you'll be gaining more and more confidence and pushing the bike and your self that much further...... and besides, you'll be on the track, no idiots pulling out and NO speed camera's ..... book a race day, you'll have fun. ![]()
