When you know there's something bad about to happen, do you still push on regardless?

I knew the sour cream was going to be off. The use by date is next week, but behold, it has already been open for more than 3 days. I know it's going to have tiny little mould spores in it, and I also know it's going to stink like one of Gr33k's farts - but I still open it. Why?

Putting the curtain rail back up in the spare room, I know I'm going to strip the screw head by trying to force it some more with the drill, so why not just pick the phillips screw driver on the windowsill and do it like a normal person would? Sod that, just a bit more and it'll be there.

Trying to cram frozen food into the tiny little freezer compartment at the top of the fridge - it's not going to fit and the quorn mince is probably going to go everywhere... One more shove should do it. Quorn surprise for lunch then?

Am I the only one?

I can normally only tell when milk is off when I've had some... so much so that I've had breakfast and got halfway through before I knew. It had only just turned so I carried on anyway.

lol - vicky hates the real stuff cos it's "the work of the devil" and hast loads of nasty bits of grizzle n fat in it. Im not bothered either way, but the quorn mince isnt bad to be honest. And it cooks in about 5 mins, then whack your chill con quorn sauce or bollognese sauce in... bosh - ready in 15 mins instead of 30

+1 YC. There is one key thing that Quorn mince is missing: FLAVOUR!!! Get some proper quailty beef mince from a proper good quality butcher and see what you're missing.
