t-total?

was out with girth and elsaxo other night and i only had the 1 and no more (ok i didn't have any ID ) but was a good larf and i didnt get plasterd

in fact come to think of it i only had 2 ciders and a bottle of cobra the whole 4 days and no scatty memory

think i will still have 1 or 2 as it helps you mellow and mingle but that would be it

anyone on the org done it? just out of wanting to?

Treid being T-Total several times now, never lasted long.

I used to drink a fair bit, I was in a band and we were always away at weekends playing music and getting plastered, but I grew up a lot when I was 15 or 16.. Haven't ever drunk much since then, and now I don't drink at all.

Me and my old chap go for a couple of pints on a thursday evening, but I've stopped drinking beer now, because I always felt crap on friday, and it wasn't ever like I had much to drink. I'm quite happy having orange and lemonade or something like that now

I would like to have a pint or two, but I can't with the meds that I'm on at the mo.
Unfortuntately Im Indoors drinks for England at the moment too, and it just makes me really upset, as he acts like a twit. Maybe if I could have one or two I'd be able to tolerate it...at least then there would be two twits!
TBH he needs to calm it down as its out of hand each weekend, but no amount of begging will get him to stop.

Xmas is going to be hard for me, as I like to have a whiskey or two with me dad, and I can't even handle half a shandy

Yes its nice at that level, we as a family sit together and slowly drink, no need to keep up with someone, plenty there for everyone, plenty food, loads to chat about .. a real nice atmosphere.
Its out in the pub when theres people put doing each other and getting trollied I don't like..thats when things get out of hand.

I've been on the other side of the bar enough times and its difficult to put up with sloshed people at the best of times...Xmas is a world unto its own. We have 'Mad Friday' in HX...and theres a reason for it!
