Here is a heart warming story for you, my sister has owned a cat called Ebony (can you guess what colour she is?) for many years now and just before she started her new job, the cat ran away and we never saw her again. We searched the streets and called for her, but to no avail and in the end, we gave up hope.

After a year and three new kittens, one of which was also lost, Lil Sis had her chap move in to her home to complete her family and all was happy. Then from out of the blue came a phone call from a distant stranger, fourteen months after she was lost, Ebony showed up in some ones garden.

Lil Sis drove down the motorway like a thing possessed and collected her cat and took her home to meet the new family. New chap, new kittens and new house now have a new owner and each knows their place. Ebony is back as queen of all she surveys and rules the roost with an iron glove.

Lil Sis did have her checked out by the vet though, it appears that she had a car accident that broke some of her teeth and left her dazed, not knowing how to get home. She was in good health, obviously being a good scavenger and sat contentedly in the car all the way to her new home. Lesson learned, never give up hope it would seem.
