Default Insurance

Hello guys,

I have chosen my insurance, paid them, and of course I received the cover letter.

They've asked me to send them a photocopy of my driver license, which I did to finalise the insurance.

Since then, I hadn't heard from them.

Are they suppose to send me some sort of Card showing that I am insured?

What if I get stopped by the Police, what would they ask for?

If you're in the UK then they won't send you a card, but you should receive the full insurance certificate with all the details on it to replace the cover note, it can take a week or two if they're busy but if you're concerned then phone them and ask what's going on...

call them right away, as they can cancel your insurance by writing to you expressing that they havent recieved your details, If the letters have got lost in the post your screwed... (providing ur in the UK)

its how my brother got done for no insurance.

the certificate of insurance is enough for Mr Plod. However phoning to check always helps too.

Get back to them and ask for the 'Certificate of Insurance', it is just an A4 piece of paper with you and your bikes details on.

Welcome to the forum, hope you enjoy the SV.
