Default Leathers

I received some new 2 piece leathers for Christmas, a set of PSXR track leathers from HG.

Now while the jacket is a good fit, the trousers seem a little long? Theyre not bunched up at all when sitting down, but standing up, theres sag in the **** and they seem a little long on the thigh? They also seem to be a bit "baggy" around the ankle area and its a right pain trying to get my Sidi boots on over them, being a particularly narrow fitting boot.

The last pair were like a second skin (may have been a little too tight) but is this how they generally are or should I return them and hunt around?

Two things:

1 - All leathers stretch a bit, off the peg stuff even more so, if it's a bit loose now when it's new it will be plenty more so soon enough.

2 - Bear in mind leathers are intended for bike use, ie a sitting position, even with stretch panels they aren't meant for walking around in and will fit less well in this use. That said quality kit that fits well shouldn't be too baggy and out of shape when standing.

Yeah, Ive got onto HG to see if they have the next size down. This might be a bit tight on the waist though, so Ill have to see if they can get a pair. Otherwise its a £200 credit note coming my way...

Go to HG, they will allow you to mix and match sizes to get the right fit. After all, they are a safety garment.
