me again sorry (engine this time)

my engines gone weird went at 4000-6000 rpm whilest riding im getting cluncks through the bars and its sounds like the piston is trying to fly out through the top of the engine the nearest i could describe it as when your the wrong gear (to high) at a low speed and trying to trottle through it (did this a couple of times while learning)
this is disconcerting to say the least
the bike chugs like its about to stall and to correct it so far ive cluched it and reved the knackers of it and then its fine for about another 20-30 mins
as you know ive no car and use suzi everyday so im gettin worried any help will be gratefully recived and some beer provided at ar09 (bribery is goood)

check everythings connected right-whats the weather been like?cold? possibly carb icing?

yc is intermitant but like i said worrying/ husky is there a step by step guide of how to fix carb iceing
