Neither. I reckon the idea of it being bad luck only came about cos someone once tripped over the bloody cat!

Apply the same logic to walking under ladders, stepping on cracks in the pavement etc etc...

I had bad bad luck for many years, my cat was black.

Bless her, she lasted till she was 24 though, so bad luck for me, but great luck for her

Me too! When I was at uni, Me & Matt used to walk pass this really friendly black cat. It would always come running up to us and let us stroke it. It was very old though but absolutely gorgeous with amazing green eyes. Much more friendly than my cat at home who only loves you when he wants food

my gf's cat is a bitch, no matter how nice i am to her she will just scratch me it just so happens to be a very clever cat though, learnt to open doors the other day! cant even keep it out now
