650 or 1000 lowers...can you tell?

ello guys an galz woz wondering..........

can you tell just by looking at sum fairing lowers if they are for a 650 or 1000? i got offered sum off a friend of a friend for a VERY good price so i snatched them up but no idea which bike they are for.

the guy that owned them had em hangin in his garage for years and was unsure if they came of his 650 or his 1000 ( he owned both)

jus wanna know if they worth painting up, i already have a new set in thunder grey (was gonna go for the two-tone look... silver bike/grey lowers) i'm kinda torn coz i like the bikes all one colour, but would be nice to av summit a bit different so sum input on that would be appreciated as well!

very hard to tell but at a glance id say sv1000, the difference is where the 2nd exhaust by the left hand side footpeg comes out from under the bike, the 650 is longer there cus of no 2nd zorst.

Looks like sv1000 to me aswell - just been out and checked my sv1000 fairings, and the lower edge of mine have two 'cutaways' in them - one for the down pipe itself, and one for the exhaust bolt a bit further back.

Did you get the fitting kit to go with the panels?

naw, i already have a fixing kit with another set which im now gonn dig out to compare the 2 sets.....all will be revealed shortly lol

god i am such a numb nadz coulda jus done this to start wiv

sure enuff they for sv1000, bigger than 650 ones when side by side
