I want to take the GF to gay Pari for valentines day, but it seems to cost a fortune to get there!!
whats the cheepest way? seems to be with the ferry, but you need a car to get to Dover as train just takes hours. How easy is it to get from Calis to Paris? or is there a better port to sale to? I have no knowledge of Paris at all, how easy is it to get about, dont really want to drive, so how is the public transport? cost and ease? Not even sure that I would need to use it though, I want to go to: Musée d'Eroticisme Eiffel Tower Louvre and go for a cruise on the Seine. Are these things near each other? I think it should be ok and not rushed for 2days? Ive heard that you need to que to get in the Louvre, would it be better to go there on a friday or saturday? And finally, anyone know any cheep hotels that are easy to get to and easy to get to the places we want to go to? thanks for any help!! It is needed!! ![]() |

and flying is probably the cheapest and easiest method.
get any hotel near any of the places you wish to visit, its a small city and so easy to get around. the Metro is a great underground system and cheap too. altho Euro is strong/pound is weak so it may be pricier than im used to |

We found the Eurostart was the cheapest method. £45each return we paid. What are they charging now?

Keithd speaks sense on the travelling/timing front.
Paris has a decent Metro system so use it and stay in the 'burbs ![]() |
