Default new to site but already need help

ive got an sv650N - 2000 model and the rev counter has stopped working - ive had it swapped in the garage with anouther (just to fauld find, then had to give it back and put my broken one back on) and it seems it is just the actual rev counter itself - ive searched high and low to get a new one but cannot find one anywhere - any help is greatly appreciated.
p.s. - also on the hunt for a decent fly screen but not sure which one is best any ideas - thanks

Hi, welcome to the site. there's plenty of curvy SV's being broken for parts so don't despair I'm sure you'll find one.
you could try a pm to petevtwin (sp?) or jester666 if his friend mike has one.

Hiya mate and welcome to the.org!

I may have one lying around. It's off a damaged naked clockset, so I dunno if it works or not. Your's for postage costs if I do find it as I might have junked it when I moved house. Will search over the weekend and get back to you with pics etc.

Sorry, think the one i linked to is for faired and i see you have a Naked.

Best of luck, but as said before SV's are very popular so must be a few breaking.

I have a couple of times used a telephone search facility, you pay afew quid telling them on the phone what you are after and your contact details and then they fax 200+ breakers. Then anyone with a part will contact you. Can not remember who they are but they were Leicester Based. Must be others about.
