Who keeps their bike in their house? I have always dismissed this idea as impracticle, but I've seen a lot of photos of people doing it.
I've tried in the past getting it through a garden gate but there was barely enough room for the bike to fit though, yet alone me aswell stood along side it. Also, I find wheeling it over even the smallest step really hard. The only way is to take a run up and risk dropping it if it goes wrong. So how do you do it?? |

Yep, we do.
![]() We've made a ramp out of a pallet and Pete just rides it up that and through the front door. Have to take the mirrors off to fit her through, but that's not a big problem. Can fit two bikes in the front room, although there's only the 996 in there now. ![]()

I keep mine in my garage, but when i was selling my old one i used to take pictures of it up on a 2 foot high wall. Just have to be careful when your getting it up, same goes for sticking it in the house i would assume, you could always use a bit of the engine to push the front wheel over after that's in the back should be a doddle

Im Indoors kept 3 bikes indoors for years, when he didn't live with me. One of them was built upstairs in his bedroom!
He has a bike ramp that he found very handy many times. I wheel bikes in and out of garden gates with ease these days, theres three I have to go through to get into my garden at the back where all ours are stored. Plus a very tight path round the first house is a little difficult, I've almost taken bricks out of the gable end with cans a few times ![]()

Yeah, used to when I lived in Horfield.
Used to take it in through the front door and keep it in the kitchen ![]() Sounds good when you kick it over in the kitchen ; )

Ok, so it looks doable, just got to put a little effort into it.
I hope something like this doesn't happen when im going up the ramp with nowhere to put my feet down. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UkQYY...eature=related |
