Default Spending my Monies

I got a cheque and a letter through the post yesterday saying i had inherited £1000. Now I never have any money, and I'm awful at managing money, and I've never had this kinda money before (I know its not life changing amonts but when you get 3k student loan a year its loooooads) so I'm stuck with what to spend in on....

.....So Mighty Org, help me spend my monies!!

spend it on something you can keep. when my nan passed away she left me £500. i could have bought a new stereo for the house, or blow it on clothes but wanted to have something i could have forever, so i took my bike test

i wouldn't spend it on paying loan back sorry. spend it something you really want or stick in savings account until you find something you really want.

Stick it in the bank as an ISA or get Premium Bonds and forget about it.

You would be surprised how interest will mount on it.

If you do go the Premium Bonds route - I want half if you win the £1million :P

I've heard premium bonds are better than ISAs now. Is it worth it? Could do with doing something clever with my money rather than dotting it around savings accounts and ISAs

I would have suggested leather, but you already have some. Are there any parts you want for the bike?
How about you buy my CG off me?
