thames valley free time for rides

hi recently joined the org and its been suggested that this is the nearest members area to me (buckingham).

Its probably a long shot - but does anyone get time off work mon/tues and go for a ride?

Im in the motortrade n have to work every weekend

Hey man, welcome to the TVSF! I saw you post in the main section, don't worry, here you don't need to hold back. I work usual day's I'm afraid, but some people in here certainly seemt o want to ride on week days, some others are students, and some are about to be redundant (), so there is a good chance. Come to the meet tomorrow night to introduce yourself!

The meet is detailed in one of the sticky posts I think, or is present on the calendar which the ape tells me is somewhere on this forum. It is at the Shire Horse, Maidenhead, and usually we ride there and just eat and drink and chat, sometimes when the days are longer there is a mini ride too. Philbut and me come from Oxford so we get 30 miles each way anyway. Starts at about 7:30.

Sounds good though - like i say prob wont make tomorrow but maybe 2 weeks time (i have 1day off 1 week n 2 the next - usually 11 - 8pm) so just looked at a map n could pass oxford n ride down with you 2.

Sure thing. Quite often we meet up with Andy (Walkaboutandy) and ride down from Sainsburys on the South West Oxford Ring road.

I am one of them lay about students Nick is on about, but unfortunately i'm doing a PhD not an undergrad so I tend to have to work mon / tue as well. You in the bike trade or car?
