Default Bacon butties & brews

I know there's a thread on here where people post good places to stop for a brew but they rarely seem to be around the north west. Am I missing something or is it worth having a bit of list in here for places around the north west (selfishly Cheshire).

I tend to ride out alone (not having any mates at all ) and am always looking for new places to head for that involve tea and butties so good roads and bike friendly cafe recommendations required.

Anyone got any?

The Carousel Cafe in Southport (at least I think it's called that, it's bascially next to Silcock's carousel on the prom in Southport).

Appreciate it's not Cheshire, but it's a fairly decent ride out.

Yep a lot of bikes go to the Carousel in Southport. There`s usually one or two there any day of the week but is more popular on a Saturday and Sunday.
