Default Seem to have a judder from the front... Idea's?

Well ive only noticed it last night when I went out on it... So its a new one to me

It judders at ~45mph in a straight line, when going into corners as well, mostly right handers, but when the speed increases it seems better. Feel it most through the left bar it seems.

So anyone got any idea's?

Im thinking either bearings or maybe Rotor's. I think the Rotor's might be getting a little too "floating". Its got to the point where they can move side to side with no impedance. Though there is no pulsing through the brake lever...

So another question, anyone know a shop in the Yorkshire area that could change the buttons on the rotor's?

Cheers for any help!

*EDIT* I might have found something else, http://www.ducatisti.co.uk/forum/duc...ke-judder.html

Sounds similar. Ill have to have a see if that might be the issue. Might well be as I did ride off of a low curb and it banged hard from somewhere

Indeed... But I have asked a few decent Machanics and they were happy with the movement.

Its only just really got bad so id imagine its not them as they arnt any worse than they have been.

Going to have to wait till Saturday I guess to have a good check of bearings. I hope its the Head gone as that will be a damn sight cheaper than a new set of Rotors £300.

Rotors in warranty? Don't EBC have a 2 year warranty with them+ they're "fully rebuildable" or something.

Was it really necessary to post that or are you just trying up your post count?

Someone on the Triumph forum swapped out his stock buttons for STM fully floating buttons. Was fairly expensive to do though and I think the buttons are really hard to get hold of.

As with all these things - if you're not sure what is causing the problem - start with the cheapest thing to fix, first i.e first check your head bearings.

You told me that movement in the rotors is fine if I remember correctly.

Im just looking at possibilities Rich. There is a chance that the Rotors moving side to side could cause the issue.... But the more ive thought about it the less likely that is I think.

If I put the brake on slightly then that should stop them moving at all, the movement seems to get less (asing the judder) which makes me think bearnings. Head bearings.

So ill be looking into that next.

Cheers Gid.
