Im looking into buying a pressure gauge for the bike, as its seems to be widely believed that the forecourt gauges are wildly inaccurate and would like to know exactly what pressures im running.
So would like some opinions as to which type are best digital or analogue clock - makes to go for/stay away from. Im not looking to spend silly money, maybe a tenner? Ive seen a digital motrax on ebay for that much which is keyring size, which would be good as id be able to take it easily to the garage with me when im out and about. Cheers ![]() |

Get an analogue pen type guage. Been using one for years now. Much superior IMHO than a digital one and its easier to get on and off the valve as well.

Doesn't really matter which you choose, the most important thing is that you stick to the same one all the time.
Cheers Mark.

Been warned against digital ones just because the battery will out, and reading might go a little wonky when it gets low.

The key ring type fits easily on one of the helmet hooks underneath the pillion seat and is small enough to get on and off the valves without touching the rims/discs which some of the larger type do. |
