15 minutes and I've got the dreaded pins and needles, 45 minutes and my back is really startin' to ache.
My Curvy S is starting to be a pain. Could a heli bar conversion be enough to make the difference or is the unfaired model a better bet? I've tried adjusting my riding position and taking weight off the wrists but doesn't seem to make much difference. Maybe I'm just gettin' old but if any body has experienced similar and found the answer, please let me know. |

Just checked on Bykebitz web site and it seems they don't do Heli bars for a curvy.
Might have to consider a swap to naked then? |

i bought my bars for the curvy from banditmania for £140 they do help a bit but dont take away the general aches i found anyway i'd say try the naked pointy much more room and nice and relaxed i found anyway.

You can fit the whole shebang from the naked.
Top yoke, bars, footrest hangers.

Ive just bought some prips which i havent fitted yet which supposed to help a little. will let you know how i get on. Biggest thing which has kinda helped is riding with my forearms more paralell to the road, this helps but does not feel a comfortable position for me but does help with the pins and needles. Gripping tank with knees while braking does help as well with too much weight being shoved down on the wrists. Dealer said to me the larger diameter heated grips could help but i am trying the cheaper option first. Someone on the org suggested to me last week about a german bar conversion for about £210 which he said has helped him a lot. phil |
