front or rear of the frame? reg rec is at the rear of the frame on a curvy I imagine the same on a pointy. Is your fan coming on? Is it hot enough to burn you?

Yes mine used to get stupidly hot.

My CBR does as well, engine temp got to 108c when riding around trying to find tameside hospital, you could not touch the frame and I was pretty much dead from the heat

reg/recs under the rear seat plastics, I doubt you'd feel that getting hot.

Yesterday was a particularly warm day, so I'd definetely notice an increase in heat, just in general from my bike. However if I was in and out of town, with a bit of waiting at lights and in traffic I'd expect my fan to come on.
