new bike pics and video

got my new bike yesterday
it is a aprilia shiver 750 v-twin
it has been a while since I last rode a bike so can not give a true comparison with the sv but I will do my best.
to start with I can only use 6k but it does feel a lot more powerful than the sv but it does not like being below 3.5k and gets a bit snatchy, brakes feel so much better (std braided hoses and radial brakes),
mpg the trip computer was saying 45 mpg yesterday but that was again only using 6k (it will rev to 12k),
suspension is a lot better but the front forks are non adjustable
there is 3 engine maps to chose from sport touring and rain, I have only tried touring so far (because I did not know how to change it ) but figured it out today and but just blipping the throttle there is a MASSIVE difference between them sport is instant responce (small twist and it was revving to about 5-6k) and the same movement on the trottle with rain and it was only doing about 3k.
IMO it is a good step up from the sv without going in thou v-twins.

yeah, when I picked it up the dealer had taken the baffles out, it sounded soooo good but was very loud

If only i had the money. The Shiver is such a good looking bike & a Twin as well, so the best of both worlds.

I'll try and get a de-baffled fly by of my new twin when I get it all sorted too, everyone could do one and we can do a pointless poll on it.
