A cool fan, a cold bath and a two litre tub of ice cream. That is what it takes to make Jayneflakes a happy sleeper.
![]() Other tips, if a hot water bottle works when it is cold, why not put the water bottle in the freezer. OK, it may get a little frosty and then melt, but we girls are used to having to sleep in a damp patch! ![]() |

run the cold tap over your wrists for 5 minutes. its the part of your body where the skin is thin and blood vessels closest to the surface (hence why docs check pulse that way), it will help reduce your body temperature quicker and hopefully sleepytime come quicker

your body temperature apparently drops when you sleep, so as Keithd says, anything that cools you down before you get to sleep will be the winner.
Ice on a pulse point in your wrist is a good one - another one would be to put a clean t-shirt or pyjama top in the fridge, then pop it on before bed, you should then stay cool enough to get off to sleep
