Idle Banter For non SV and non bike related chat (and the odd bit of humour - but if any post isn't suitable it'll get deleted real quick).
There's also a "U" rating so please respect this. Newbies can also say "hello" here too.

Default de railing threads.

NOW. me is guilty of this..

but.. lately .. most threads are descending in to chat that can be done via other chat media/rooms..

sometimes I read a title - think oo that is interesting and trawl through pages n pages of none relevant waffle stuff pertaining to
in jokes between parties quite often and the original issue of the thread is lost..

is this just my opinion??

what can be done to limit this ?

It's idle banter. That's what it is here for. Unless the topic of conversation is a serious discussion I let it go. It's off topic banter in other area's of the forum that annoy me.

As moderator of both Bike Talk and SV T&T if you find a topic is being turned into idle banter, feel free to send me a PM and I will edit accordingly.

I placed this in idle banter.. cos its a dicussion andnot a specific topic.

yes its been "DONE TO DEATH" before.. but there has been no definitive solution and its time it was discussed again..

maybe I best not bother
