Anyone know where I can find one? Or why I can't! Searched all over the web and ebay but where I find sv rear brake lever it's for curvy frame.
First track day, first session, third lap I dropped it at the hairpin at Cadwell. Felt a proper t**t. Broken front and rear brake levers, bent bar end weight, scratches to right fairing and minor bruise to hip. Got the front brake lever delivered from a local dealer but cannot find a rear pedal anywhere. It's just the very end that broke off so I can use it still but I'd like it right. Should have fitted crash bungs. Still had a great day, though, eventually. People were very helpful and encouraging. |

Is it a curvy or a K3? They're not the same, and your post isn't clear.
Anyway, you may or may not be surprised to find that Suzuki dealers sell Suzuki parts.

Its like the bit your toes push, with a screw to attach to the rest of the lever that hopefully you've still got left. If you can machine/sand down the end of the rest of the lever that snapped it can almost look like it was never broken in the firstplace. Benefit is they only cost a couple of quid

I got a replacement from ebay for the one I snapped also at Cadwell, had R&G crash bobbins on at the time and the only thing they didnt protect was the rear brake lever, bit frustrating really. Then believe it or not, three days after putting the new brake lever I dropped the bike and again the brake lever snapped - still with the bobbins on. So third lever just about to be ordered - and after seeing this thread think I'll get a fixer-peg aswell ready for next time!! |
