Default Bathroom fitting advice

I've discovered that we have a small leak round our bath (fitted around 12 months ago) when the shower over it is used. I have checked all the grout is good, and have re-siliconed all around the bath with a sealant I have had no problems with in the past, however the leak still persists. It is only a dribble of water at best, however I obviously don't want any water damage caused over the longer term.

Anyone any suggestions as to what else I can do?

Is it the shower that's leaking or around the bath?

How do you know it's leaking?

If you've used a decent sealant it shouldn't still be leaking.

Because as we took an age to decorate, the bath panel has never been fitted, so I can see under the bath. Sealant used was Mapesil stuff.

Not used that sealant myself. I normally use this one

Are you abolutely certain it's leaking around the bath and it's not a pipe or the waste leaking?

Pretty sure.

You can see a small trail of water running down the wall shortly after it has been used. The water appears in the corner of the bath where it is against 2 walls, and this is consequently about 6 to 8 inches away from where the shower pipework would be.

Ah ok was just checking, have been to a few jobs where the leak is a loose overflow or a loose tap connector etc

When you re did the sealant did you fill the bath with water? It sometimes solves its

Funny, we've got exact thing today. Knew we had a leak from the bath when water dripped through hall ceiling.
Got a plumber coming in morning, and hope to get a quote for ceiling this week.
Phoned my insurance company [direct line]. Plumbing work not covered unless it's a frozen or burst pipe. Have to send them a quote for ceiling [two quotes if it's over £500]
