Default Helmet and jacket

Wife wants to have a go on the back of my bike, not taken a pillion before. But I dont have a spare lid or jacket. Any place I can hire a set for the afternoon / day so I can take her out. If she likes it then she can get a set of her own.

I wouldnt think there would be many hire places for such kit, especially lids. I wouldnt want to wear a lid which has been used by lotsa people, dunno what people have in their hair or if they been dropped.

Have you not got a buddy nearby that can lend you their kit for a day??

have got people who ride but all a little/lot bigger than her. tried lids and they don't fit (too loose.)

jkt would be a 12 and lid would be a small / medium - depending on hair style that week. going to take her into J&S brum to try on lids so I have a better idea.

It would be nice to take her out on the back when we dont have the little one. Ashbourne and matlock in the car wasn't as good as the ride out.

Must say a BIG thanyou to Binky for the loan of a lid, jkt and trs. Had a wonderful morning round Sutton coldfield and the lanes around bassets. 60 miles covered in about 90 minutes door to door - not much hangin around. Only complaint from the wife was "I'm cold" and "could that car go any slower! Over take it!". Strangly the bike seem better riding two up? any reason why this may be?

Hes not a bad lad really

Strange how you think the bike handles better, maybe more weight keeping it more planted?

If I want to spoil a good ride I usually chuck the mrs on the back!
