Default Filtering Doh

I don't use my bike in towns/citys. I don't do towns/citys.

Well today, I had to nip into the building society (must get a modern account I can pay into electronically, instead of my 10 year old pass book). So I find out where I can park free of charge on the bike and proceed into Preston.

Despite having a licence for over 30 years. I don't do much filtering, no need I don't do towns/citys remember. So proceed to squeeze my way through.

Dead proud seize my moment and dash past a caravan that is about to block my route.

Doh. must remember in future where there is a caravan there tends to be a numpty up front with wing mirrors bigger than the wings of most light aircraft.

Push them out the way to the sound of the horn from mr caravan puller and squeeze past, but going nowhere.

What is the point of an inflatable boat if it is wider than a flipping caravan takes up 1.25 lanes width with its flipping trailer. God I wish I had the time and inclination to light up a cig (need to start smoking) I would have jammed it in there somewhere to deflate some of the enormous bulk.

Question why do numpties that pull this sort of stuff, need to go through town when there are nice wide motorways and dual carriageways round?

They must have been tipped off about all the delightful sights to be seen whilst going through town.

They might have been informed you where coming through so all converged on that road.
Seriously though there are days where it's really hard work to filter and days when it's peasy.
Totally agree with you.

Only ever seen a bendy bus once (oh and I had a go driving it) when Leyland had a go fastening two nationals together.

Still they could do worse and prove it when they put a pair of widened nationals on a rail bogie and called it a rail bus.

Enduro handguards with big metal bars down the middle are ace. Brace yourself and any errant mirrors are f'd off out of the way rapidly.

I ignored the hooting horn as I moved his mirrors out of my way. I was however tempted to turn round and flick him a finger. Probably a good job seeing I could not get past the bloody great inflatable boat in front of mr caravan.

I hate bendy buses. And cyclists, and Oxford St. road works that have massive "get-in-your-way" barriers down the middle at the moment stopping you from filtering safely.
