Sigh.
My boyfriend's bike was stolen from our garage last night. It was a 2002 Honda CB250. Now we could be lucky and they wanted something easy to offload/strip down and that they won't be back but I have a horrible feeling at the pit of my stomach that they will be back. We bought another chain today and 2 ground anchors but we don't have a masonry drill big enough to fit it yet, that's going to have to wait until Monday. We've chained the 2 remaining bikes together and we tried to put the garage door out of action but we had no luck. Looks like they had no trouble getting through the garage door lock. So all in all, feeling quite vulnerable at the moment and very worried. At least Sam KNOWS his bike is gone. I could wake up tomorrow and... poof ![]() EDIT: I've had tracking devices suggested to me for my bike. Does anyone have any idea of price or good brands? Also, is there any kind of DIY motion sensor kit we could get to rig up in garage for the future? how about a baby monitor? lol Last edited by Talya; 18-07-09 at 10:01 PM. |

We have two latches and 2 big pad locks. Easy to fit and will take a fair bit more time if you get propper top of the line locks!
I take it the garage isnt on the side of the house? You could always park the car in front? |

Bloody thieving b*stards.
Can you not pile a load of stuff in front of the bikes that will make a right racket when it all falls over if disturbed? |

no reason why you cant go get a drill now, tesco are probably still open afterall! I would go with the put loads of stuff all over and around the bikes just to make it hassle for them. I there an inside door (ie house - garage) so you can wedge something behind the door but still get through?
Failing all that, camp out in the garage lol. |

LoL Still look at getting those latches I mentioned. They will at least make it a much harder job for them to get in!
As said Camp in there! ![]() |
