Default gsxr mirrors on my k9 sport

Thought i would try putting some of these mirrors on my bike, took a while to make the brackets but in the end they worked out well because the mirrors are in the same place as the stock mirrors positioning wise, but as there bigger give tiny bit better view.

IIRC, GSXR K4 mounts are a direct SV fitment. Chin

I made my own mounts out of delrin, the same stuff chewys mirror extenders are made of.

With the gsxr mounts you have to remove the gsxr mirror bases and only use the arms. But with the mounts i made you use the whole of the gsxr mirro and just bolt them to the delrin form the underside. this way you get to keep full mobility of the gsxr mirrors as they are still attached to their original base. K4's don't have indicators.

That's a good idea. I bet you could sell a fair few of them
Where did you get the delrin from, and was it difficult to make?

Oh Here WE go again. Pookie has just done this mod. You use the K4 'mounts' with GSXR mirrors attached to them (the mounts that is) - then it's a direct fit!

DarrenSV650S use the search and you will see.

visibility is better but by no means perfect.

I got the delrin (basically artifically engineered plastic i think) from a local builder who had a few bits.

Would consider making a few and selling them but these ones took me ages to make, more so because of trial and error. But i may make a couple of more sets form left over plastic i have. But if i were to sell them i would want about £30/40 for a pair because its pretty time consuming and damn messy with all the plastic shards coming off from the belt sander. (bare in mind mine are hand made as i htink chewys extenders are CNC's or something.)

Also i havent got a nice gloss finsh to them yet because im not sure how to, so still playing around. once i have made some more sets i will see.
