Evening all
My first post - hope i've come to the right area! Well, passed Mod 2 yesterday at the first attempt ![]() I've decided to get a 650 Sport as it seems to offer a great blend of performance and handling (according to people i've spoken too and noseying around on here for a while) and looks the dogs as well. As i'm sh*te at saving i'm probably going to bite the bullet and take Suzuki up on a 0% deal on a new bike - there are a few black ones close by so will be looking at the weekend. Only problem is that the examiner took my license after the test to send directly to the DVLA - I forgot to get a photocopy. Do you think this will prevent me from getting a test ride? Insurance etc.? Anyway, can't wait to do the deal now. Cheers Mike |

Did you not get some sort of certificate saying that you passed? My license was sent off straight away but i had a certificate from the test centre saying i'd passed with my details and the date

Yeah alot of places might not let you test ride if you havent passed your test for two years insurance and the sort, if you have the money you could leave that with them as a crash it you buy it sort of thing im sure most would be fine with that

Cheers guys. I've spoken to a couple of dealers and explained how i've just passed. They just need to contact their insurers - think the excess is raised for new licence holders.
You'd hope in the current climate that they would do all they can to get arses in seats! |

Well done and good luck in finding a bike this weekend. Have you thought about going second hand as your first bike ?
