Anyone Got a Nokia N97

Had one for about 6 weeks now and just wondering if any one else

a) has one?
b) has had any problems?
c) knows of any good places to get apps/games etc apart from the Ovi Store

Still running my N95 with google maps installed.
Works fine, don't really need to change it. I did look at the N96, N97, and a couple of Samsungs but not really taken.
An Iphone would last about 5 minutes before I'd break the screen.
I'd be interested in what others have got now and what they'd recommend as well

Wouldnt mind Google Maps or TomTom app for the N97 as Im "directionally challenged"

Did you upgrade the firmware? Ive had problems with mine but a lot of them have been ironed out after upgrading. What problems did you have?

The thing was so slow it was painful.
It also didnt like the udates on the software making it even slower than before.
It kept freezing, dropping calls and re-setting itself.
Battery life was about 25 mins too ( slight exageration but not much).

I really do think that there is too much being stuffed into mobiles these days (sounding old now).

What was wrong with just using it to call people...?

One of the problems I had was resetting itself too. It would freeze, then switch off and on again but on restart, all my messages were wiped and my email settings gone. Ended up with a replacement handset in the end. Only had that a couple of days so far so fingers crossed this one wont suffer the same fate.
