Hey all.
I'm appealing to the might and wisdom of the all knowing .org. I have been looking into picking up an off season bargain set of leathers ready for next spring and came across these http://www.topgearsuperstore.com/-mo...ge-p-4548.html There is also a matching pair of trousers, totaling £185 for the two pieces. I have not seen anything about the brand though and wonder how others have got on with them, or if I should be steering well clear. The same site also has a Richa Samurai jacket and trousers for £270. If I go for the cheaper set though I cam afford a new pair of boots as my Black Rain's leak ![]() I need to make my mind up soon though so I can ask for them for my birthday next week. Thanks. |

They aren't really waterproof and not that warm for textile kit. I then bought some Hein Gericke gore tex kit which is first class. However they were at least double and maybe tripple the price, the moral, you get what you pay for. I haven't seen the leather ones but I assume they are much the same fit which was good for me. I would suggest trying them on though if you have a chance because they do fit on the tight side. Hope that helps a little Nick |

Cheers Nick, just the sort of thing I was after. I appreciate the price probably would equal quality and fit but thought it worth checking. I have a Dianese set of textiles for the winter which have been, and still are, great after almost 3 constant years of use. I'm now swaying towards the Richa set.

I'm 6'3" tall, 44" chest, and (annoyingly) 35" waist. I have trouble finding arms long enough on normal clothes and have about a 34" inside leg.

Try J&S accessories, Ive always found them to have some decent stock and a good price. My local one is a bit of a jumble and you have to rummage to find what you want, but they have some bargains.
That said I went to Hein when their sales where on and got some nice leathers and textiles at way under the norml rrp |
