Default Luton/Iveco van buying oh wisest org...

I am going to look at a 2nd hand van today to replace the one which was trashed at work by lovely hooligans. Have seen a decent priced 2005 Luton Iveco, anybody got experience in these things that can give me an idea what to look out for...

the gear boxes can be like porridge if its been thrashed, i drove one and i couldn't find reverse

Every Iveco van I have driven has been naff. Really really naff.

+1, oh yeah and the electric windows for some reason don't like working some sometimes, reversing bleeper didn't work in the rain and the gear nob came off virtually everytime you changed gear........... maybe i jsut had a bad one

ok, am going on my van drivers previous experience with ivecos and he likes them. personally i wouldnt know one if it bit me on the ass.

whats a good wagon then?
