I wouldn't put the mortgage on it yet - if it was such a hot rumour I'd expect Autosport.com & Crash.net (to name but 2) to be mentioning it - they aren't.

I'm not saying it's untrue - but the rumour has been floating around ever since Spies started winning WSB races !!

Also, lets not forget that even if Spies does race for Tech3 - JT might be placed elsewhere - another rumour is that Hayate are looking at possibly running a Yamaha engined bike next season.

JT has DORNA 'backing' him as they really want a British presence in MotoGP because the BBC can drop their coverage if they wish with no financial penalty if there's no British interest.
