So nothing about the 26th anniversary of the mass breakout of the Maze prison in Ireland then, or perhaps remembering the 28th anniversary of the funeral of Steve Biko, or even celebrating the 59th anniversary of UN forces regaining control of the South Korean capital Seoul in the Korean War

I of course will be there conducting my own small celebration / memorial for those wishing to join me.

Saw the doc at the fracture clinic - Hairline fracture, no cast, told off for riding there (foot actually feels better in the boot when i finaly manage to get it on that is) and made me take my boot off - TWICE (sure he was having a laugh), back to work on the 8th of Oct regardless tho as work is getting a little tetchy.

Hope to pop up for a wee while at least considering the weather (summer is here at last)

I would like to come down tonight and join Rictus in his maze prizon outbreak memorial/celebration.
Pay my respects for the prison guard that was killed and the several that were injured (according to wikipidia)

Have to wait for my dinner to come out first though
