Default Ready for winter...

Just serviced the bike last weekend, and fitted a few bits ready for winter...

TKC80s:

Barkbuster Storms for if, no wait, when she ends up horizontal...

Touring screen to keep the winter chill off:

Ready for action

First proper outing is Thetford Forest on the 11th...

I know...

These are sposed to be some of the better road knobblies and instead of wheelying over crests the back wheel just spins, the result of about an inch square contact patch and 70lbft or torque... boooo

Still, I'm more interested in mud plugging in the winter tbh, and these should be better for that...

Watch those barkbusters if you go into the back of anything!

I weighed up the pros/cons of solid handguards before deciding, so I'm aware of the possibilities:

I don't get why two fuel caps? Does it have 2 tanks or 2 caps leading to one big tank?

Watch that big screen for looking at things....

TKC80s are fine, not bad in wet. Don't like the white bits on the road when wet but neither do lots of things. Lots of folks use them as an all year round tyre. Don't go too quick when loaded though, I thought I was going to die once due to a high speed wobble, but that could have been I was loaded a bit wrong.

The latter, with a crossover pipe, but you still need to fill both sides. Before I got one I used to think 'cool'. Now I think 'what a pain in the ****.
