Default Lightly Scratched Visor

Hey,

Right, yes have done a quick search, tho couldn't find anything, not to say a thread isn't there.

Anyways, have an AGV Ti-Tech, and after all sorts of different conditions of weather riding, and possibly not the best cleaning methods, the visor is mildly scratched and low light is picking them up really (annoyingly) well!

So, how best to polish out scratches on a clear visor..?

I read somewhere the visors have a coating to increase the shatter resistance that prevents you polishing the scratches out

Certainly didn't work on mine...

Buy a new one with a pinlock insert instead. My AGV visors were junk - had one second-hand that was scratched and scuffed within weeks, and a second one lasted about 3 months of daily riding before needing replacing. Got a shiney new one aftermarket one with pinlock fittings+insert last week and it's miles better.
