Well a GP125 could make about 60BHP and the engine might be out of that.
But I'd go with the rubbish thing. |

lol!!!!!!
a hightly Tuned RS125 will get ~40 maybe 50ish. But were are talking serious race bikes here. I should think a Crosser would be making ~20- 40ish Max. 60 is total Bollox! |

are you sure it isnt a 250!
Ask to see a dynometer output otherwise, tell him he's very silly, and also warn him that if it IS putting out 60bhp, he better learn how to do engine rebuilds because he might be doing alot of them! |

Yamaha DTR had 17bhp and that was the fastest 125 learner legal bike behind the RS125.
The SV is only 73(ish)bhp IRRC so a 125 is never going to be putting out 60. Someone spiked his cornflakes mate. EDIT: I realise your asking about the RM and not the DR, the RM been the pure crosser. Not sure if it makes any odds but it certainly rules out my comparrison to the DTR. Last edited by Owenski; 07-10-09 at 02:02 PM. |

even a modern 600cc IL4 supersport would be struggling to get twice the power output (consider that in general a two stroke can produce twice as much power per cc than a 4 stroke...)
