As in the title, what's my best bet for a battery for my '99 650n?
I know it will have been covered before but a forum and a google search upturned nothing. And wouldn't mind picking one up today! Just hope it is the battery

Dave, go for the Yuasa YTZ14S if getting a new battery.
As said, you'd need to lose the fuse tray though.... Ben

Any brand frankly, never seen much difference between them. They're hellish expensive at Halfrauds though

possibly do need it actually, it's been tested with a working multimeter - charging quite low.

Search facility is crap so for anyone that finds this thread here's some links
In summary go for the YTZ14s(-bs?) if you can afford it or the YTZ12S (cheaper but still better than standard). Yuasa (how the hell do you pronounce it?) are the best bet apparently. http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.p...hlight=battery http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.p...battery&page=4 http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=80153
