Default Gaskets etc cam chain tensioners

A while since I have been here but I need some help, I have just about finished my SV650S mods, last stage of project is to put the 84mm (700cc) wiseco pistons in and the manual cam chain tensioners, I need help in sourcing the cylinder base gaskets (I rang the local suzuki dealer who said "we don't stock any parts but I should (?) be able to get you some in two to three days" !!!) preferably in yorkshire but anywhere that can post them to me is ok.
Next thing I need advice on is the replacement of the cam chain tensioners, I have bought some APE tensioners from the USA but am not sure how to set the tension and don't know what I do about the little brass jet that comes out of the cylinder, do I just remove jet and fit manual tensioner with gasket that just blocks off the oilway ?

Thanks a lot for any help

Have you tried Redcar Motorcycles? They're one of the big Suzuki dealer in the Midlands

http://www.suzuki-spares.co.uk/

Also I found this a little while ago about installing the manual tensioners

http://www.bigborethumpers.com/installtensioner.html

Not sure what to do about the oilway, sounds like you have the k5 onwards SV with the oil-fed tensioners, sorry but hope the above is of help.

Let us know how you get on!

Thanks for those replies, must admit I never thought of Earnshaws, I have mailed Redcar Motorcycles and gonna try ring, if I don't get any joy I will try Earnshaws, cheers, still waiting any more info re cam chain temsioners and yes it is a K6 SV650S, fairng lowers, Hugger, Goodridge brake hoses, uprated fork springs, power commander, K + N air filter with modfied air box, fuel tank raised, iridium plugs, full titanium Arrow race spec exhaust system, R6 throttle and grips, lots of parts removed (unnecessary bracketry etc) and other replaced with alloy parts i.e. bar ends, Black double bubble screen, single seat converter, mini indicators, tail tidy, mild gas flowing on heads and latest parts are the 84mm (700cc higher compression, 13 to 1 I think) wiseco piston kit and manual cam chain tensioners, just putting this down cos it will be for sale when it is rebuilt and back on the road, it is very quick and brakes and handling are pretty good mainly due to the reduced weight I reckon.
