Default Rear brake piston stuck

I've been changing the pads on my k3 sv for the first time, and perhaps foolishly used a G clamp to push the piston in after trying a few other things to get the pads to slide back over the rotor , i checked the brake fluid and managed to lose some on the garage floor still plenty in though, now i have no pressure in the brake lever and no movement at all in the piston. no leaks anywhere and brake parts were re-tightened .

maybe next time i'll take it to a garage but for now any ideas on how to fix?

Cheers

Did the fluid leak from the piston or the master cylinder?

It wasn't leaking - I'd undone the thing on the caliper to try and release the pressure to push the piston in manually. caught the fluid in a cup and put it back in

You will need to bleed it as air is likely to have got tin, never had much luck bleeding without a vacuum pump myself. The tie the lever in/down trick works depending on the amount of air you have.

if you're able to come round sometime on the 1st of december that would be good, all the parts i've ordered should have arrived then, cast off on the 2nd so want to be riding

Let me know if that day suits you
