I've been changing the pads on my k3 sv for the first time, and perhaps foolishly used a G clamp to push the piston in after trying a few other things to get the pads to slide back over the rotor , i checked the brake fluid and managed to lose some on the garage floor
![]() maybe next time i'll take it to a garage but for now any ideas on how to fix? ![]() Cheers Last edited by Flameboy; 24-11-09 at 03:40 PM. |

Did the fluid leak from the piston or the master cylinder?

You will need to bleed it as air is likely to have got tin, never had much luck bleeding without a vacuum pump myself. The tie the lever in/down trick works depending on the amount of air you have.
