Default FIM World Superbike Championship - Portimao

Apologies if this should be in the racing/WSB section, but I'm thinking of surprising Nobbylass with a weekend in Portugal to see the WSB (I know...dead romantic ).

Anyone ever been and if so, what recommendations for travel/accomodation/tickets etc?

Not sure where would be the best place to be http://trackshop.autodromodoalgarve....ctTickets.aspx but also thinking I might try and do the pit walk/paddock tickets for a little (errr...lot) extra.

Any tips greatly appreciated.

Cheers

My friends have this....

Highly recommended accomodation, not sure if it near where you want to be but, hire a care and you are near everything there.

I dont think there will be much as its a brand new circuit and hardly anything has been run yet.
