Quick leather jacket question. - SV650.org

basically, I'm looking to buy an aviator jacket...
something like this...

I think there awesome. The thing is they're quite steep, so would be good to kill 2 pigeons

with one stone. Does anybody know if any motorcycle leather companies make decent bike leathers in an aviator style, kinda like this one!

Wishful thinking perhaps, but I guess if there would be one place to ask it'd be here..thanks

I know! Its 250 big ones would you believe though. Hard to bring urself to buy a piece of leather that costly with zilch protective properties when you're a biker

Any decent quality leather jacket will be a few hundred notes.

I doubt that you'll find anything which will offer similar protection to a proper biking leather jacket purely because of the design. These ones are looser fitting so will no doubt ride up your torso if you slide down the road!

Some products aimed at cruiser/harley riders might do I know where you can get a similar jacket but without the fluffy bits. CE approved and armoured but the armour aint obvious.

Oh no, I would never wear something like this on my bike.

I was just wondering if there were proper biker leather jackets made in an aviator style/colouring. It would save me the dosh in having to buy this and some new bike leathers (which I'm looking to do soon as well!).

It's a punt, and I havent seen any, but thought maybe an orger might know of something.
