Hi,
Bought a pattern air filter some time ago from Wemoto and went to fit today The air filter is made by European Filter Company , problem is it just won't fit , appears to be slightly mis-shaped therefore can't get air box to do up . In the end popped off to M/cycle mart @ Kidderminster bought genuine air filter which fitted perfectly Any one had problems with pattern air filters before ? I use pattern oil filters all the time with no problems so far Have emailed Wemoto re getting a refund , any now what Wemoto are like to deal with re refunds ? Cheers Steveg

Why didn't you just trim it to fit? Just draw around the old one

I've used filters form there before, and my dad buys stuff from there too for his bikes and other peoples bikes. Maybe you just got the one-off one that isnt right
they are quite prompt though, send it back ![]() |

They sent me wrong dust seals once, they sent replacements quickly with no fuss.
Though TBH they do take the p*ss with some stuff, bearings and seals are far cheaper elsewhere.

i think ther servce is great, they sent me out some wrong stuff, gave them a call told them what i was after and they posted it tht day at 4clock and i recieved it the next day free of charge.
yc is right shop around as some stuff they are on the pricy side, generally if your doing a shop tho this price is lost in the postage cost you would have with going to another web ste. good luck |

Good morning all.
Usually genuine filters are best, & fit without any issues. On occasion the airbox will distort slightly, making a little 'Blue Peter' necessary. Some pattern filters are awful. My preferred pattern filters are Hi-Flo, they fit well, & often have more pleats than the genuine ones, & therefore more surface area. Hence, they last longer. Cheers. |
